Alyssa got to go to Regionals for Orchestra. She tried out in Holbrook a couple of weeks ago to get to go to this. Regionals was in St. Johns this time. She was 4th chair as a 2nd. Which for a Freshman I think is really good, plus she hasn't been feeling well at all. She has been coming down with a cold. When she got to St. Johns they played some songs for the conductor again and he placed them where they would sit for the concert. This conductor was an amazing guy. He is from Columbia and now is the conductor for E.A. in Thatcher. We went early to this and they started with the choir which was awesome, then they had 3 students do piano solos. I haven't heard anyone play the piano as well as these 3 did. Then the orchestra played they all did such a good job everyone gave them a standing ovation. For having 2 days to practice this music was sooooo dang cool. These HS kids did a great job. A big Congrats to Alyssa for working so hard on getting to regionals. Keep up the good work with the violin.

WOW...what an accomplishment!! Way to go Alyssa! She is such a dang cute girl!
