Wrestling is officially over for McKay, but Barr still has some years to come. McKay is in 8th grade and has never placed @ Regionals. This year he has worked so hard. He said I just want to place. Well he did, McKay placed 4th in the White Mountain Regionals. He had to wrestle his good friend from Snowflake (Dallin Reidhead) & won, then he wrestled St. Johns which he lost but did really well, he then beat Blue Ridge then lost to Show Low (Ty a kid he played basketball in the Show Low league with).
Now onto Barr, what a fun kid to watch. He did really well this year also. It was his 1st year as a 1st stringer. He wrestled this kid from Canyon day that he almost beat in Canyon Day. He got beat out though. There is always next year. He will be a really good wrestler.
Congrats to my 2 boys and my nephew Jaden who also took 4th place. Now onto Basketball!!
It was really neat that Alyssa wanted to give McKay his medal :)
