Whipple Reunion!!

We have our annual reunion every summer where we go and camp with Rick's mom's family. This year Barr was at Scout camp most of the week so he only got to spend one night with us. I had such a good time visiting with all the family.

The Whipple's are HUGE UofA fans. Well, I'm a HUGE ASU fan. So me and Alyssa dressed up in our ASU shirts to show our pride!!! Dangit I didn't get a picture, Aunt Norene took one of us and Uncle Terry with his UofA stuff on I will get that later and put on.

My kids look forward to this reunion every year to get with their cousins and have a good time. This year they went spotlighting, fishing and playing (or cheating at) all kinds of fun games.

One day while we were sitting under this tarp/tent playing games. It started to really rain hard!!!!!!!! Then all of a sudden a few feet away from us this tree got struck by lighting. It scared the CRAP!!! out of me. I just saw bark go flying. Just so glad that no one was hurt!!!

Rick's cousin Hank went fishing and left his Golden Retriever tied up by his tent. Well, the dog got so scared that it ate it's way into the tent & popped the air mattress. Poor Hank's family had to go into town and find another tent and air matress.

This is mostly what the older kids got to do for the littler ones at camp "Swing me, swing me!!" That's all we heard. So McKay and Lane would push them so high. (stinkers)


Barr finally got to be with us at camp

These 2 boys (Lane and McKay) were the biggest pains in my rear!!!!!!!!!!! They would harrass and taunt me so I got Lane back by putting pine cones, pine needles & sticks in his bed!!

Also, Never play cards with these 2 THEY CHEAT!!! :)

What a memorable Whipple reunion. My family just loves to be with family. Enjoying the outdoors & playing with their cousins. What better can you ask for!!
