MUSTANG VOLLEYBALL
2011 Season
These girls had a great season. They were #1 in 1A bracket. We beat everyone in the Season (1A-3A).
State was in Prescott @ Tim's Toyota Center. I didn't want to go by myself so McKay decided to go with me. 1st game was against Fort Thomas & won in 3 sets. Next one was Valley Union & was a very easy win in 3 sets. Next day for the Semi's was against St. David. This was a tougher one but won this game in 4 sets. Now onto Championship round. Playing Veritas Prep. Went to 5 sets & no win here. These girls played hard & have nothing to be ashamed of. We beat Veritas earlier in the season but they are a tough team.
Alyssa only got to play in the 1st 2 games. We call her "The Cutest Cheerleader" on the bench. She has been the Cheerleader for this team :)
it was super fun watching these girls play!! bummer they didn't win state!
