We Did It!!

Back in August @ our last stake conference, President Farr challenged our stake to read the Book of Mormon by Christmas.

Our family jumped on it & we said we WILL get it done this time :)!! That night Alyssa's young women president showed up with a schedule and we got start.

This was a difficult thing for us to do, with Rick's work schedule, kids in sports with late practices & just life.

Well there were nights we missed so we had a "Turley Reading Marathon" on Sundays. At first our kids were all grumpy & but then they all got into it.

I am so grateful for this challenge that President Farr gave us to do. It made our family so much stronger & loving of each other more. I could see a change in everyone.

I am grateful for this Book & the spirit our family felt reading it. It has made my testimony grow even more!!

I'm so proud of my kids for sticking with it. We had our ups & downs @ first but towards the end they would say "hey we are getting behind!!!" Thank you to my kids for setting the example for us all!! Love them :)
