Home Evening

In our ward the Bishopric has decided that since we have so many widow's that we should take turns have FHE. So one month it is at Bishop Franco's house then our house & then onto Brother Williams house. We have done it once before. We were supposed to do it in December but they were a little worried about driving in the snow so we canceled.
March was our month again. Rick decided that we needed to have dinner. So I made President Whipple's famous potato soup. Well, I didn't think what I had was enough so I kept adding, and adding ingredients. HOLY COW!!! I made a huge batch of soup.
These "Senior Singles" just ate it up (well I have a lot left). They loved this soup. WHEW!! I was glad they ate! haha
We invited the Vorwaller's up to the house also, they are a Senior Missionary Couple in Heber.
After dinner Alyssa gave an amazing lesson about the Priesthood. She showed the video "Sanctify yourselves" by Jeffery R. Holland and then asked if anyone wanted to tell stories of their experiences.
Then all of them begged her to play her violin, she did a great job!!
I am so grateful to see the smiles on all these widow & widowers faces when they come. My kids just love when it is our turn for FHE.
So thankful for my family and their willingness in helping with FHE.
