Can I just start off with WAY TO GO MUSTANGS!!
They beat #1 ranked Pima in the Semi's in State football to go against Bagdad next Saturday for the State Championship game.
Right after the 2nd half sometime Randall Schindler got hurt by a bad hit in the back which took him out of the game. They put our Little Barr in as center as a Freshman. I am in the stands tearing up, not breathing, basically FREAKING out!!! He had to switch jersey's with Baylend Stephens so there were not 2 #79's on the field. Seeing Barr bust his tail to stop everything to help up to a victory was an amazing feeling to have. I am also so proud of McKay & how great of a player he is. He plays both ways (Offense & Defense) & Kicks the ball. He has had bad shin splints & we have been doctoring him up. Jaden My Nephew has done extremely well also!!
I am just so proud of the whole team. They have gelled this year & got along so well. After this win over Pima that was the most intense game EVER!! 58-48 was the final score. The refs were not in our favour but we pulled it out. Now onto Bagdad. Win or Lose these boys are champions in my heart!!
