Turley Family: My Sweet Grandson!

March 30, 2015 My sweet little grandson was born.

He had a few problems getting into the world but he came finally.

Alyssa would call me for a couple of weeks & say I have been having contractions but I am not dilating. Her Dr. finally decided to he would induce her because he wasn't dropping. He thought maybe with the Tenney head they thought he may have a large head. She was induced on May 29, & it was the funniest thing. We got texts like a play by play from Alyssa. I'm at a 4 or where ever she was at. Well I ended up going to work & didn't hear anything. She should have had that sweet baby by now. I came home & around 1 we got a call from Cache. He was a little frazzled.

What happened:

The baby was in de-stress & had the cord wrapped around him. Then they found out he had pooped in the womb. So they did an emergency C-section. He was coming face up also. So that poor kid was in a lot of trouble. Well, we found out after Alyssa saw him they took him & he stopped breathing. They rushed him to the NICU. He had swallowed some of the poop & fluids. That was the scariest thing to hear. Alyssa had a hard time talking to us but they talked to the nursed & found out he was OK. That made her feel alot better. Brooks Cache Tenney is doing well!

Brooks had to have an I-V in his poor little had he had tubes in him & all the monitors on him. Poor Alyssa didn't get to see him that night but Cache took lots of pictures for her. Alyssa was so excited he had lots of hair. Alyssa went down the next day to see him but he was asleep & they didn't want her to disturb him. She was so soar from the C-section that she waited. Then they finally got to hold him!!!

Brooks was in NICU for 29 hours. Poor Kid! Glad he is a healthy little guy!

I flew out the next day after he was born. I was in HEAVEN to see this little guy! Rick & McKay came a bit later & loved to meet him also. I was lucky enough to be able to spend 2 weeks helping!!

I'm so in love with this little guy!!
