Back to School

Yeah I'm so excited for school to start, and yes as Rick would say "there were no tears shed this year."
Rick needs to think that one through again. Yes we were ready to strangle everyone this summer with all the fighting. It just seems the older they get the mouthier they get with each other. Anyway it is soooo weird how time is just flying by. My kids are just getting older and older. We had 2 nieces get married this summer and I think reality is sinking in (especially with Rick). We are getting older and so are our kids and there is nothing we can do about it.

Alyssa:

Holy Cow, she is a dang Sophmore this year. Just yesterday we were waiting anxiously for the bus to drop her off from Pre-K. Now look at her.

Heck the girl can drive and date next year. (Dad not happy at all with that one, the dating). UHG!!!

McKay:

My big Jr. High-er. So dang excited to go to Jr. High. Him and Jaden (my nephew) were talking to Alyssa one night about being in Jr. High. "So how long do you have between classes?" So Alyssa tells them 2 minutes. You should have seen the look on their faces. "How do you go to your locker and to the bathroom in 2 minutes?" Just toooo funny. McKay is getting better and better in football and loves it!

Barr:

What can I say, what a happy kid he is. Getting a little attitude lately. Anyway, he started 5th grade this year with Mrs. Ballesteros aka Mrs. B. He was so dang excited when he found out. He is already getting ready for the track season by running almost every day. He loves to get out and run, run, run. He is just wondering where they would put him in which event. Just have to wait and see. He has also started playing the Viola this last summer. Now all my kids in Orchestra. (One concert YEAH!!)
