Since School

Since school has finally started (YEAH!!), McKay and Alyssa have started there sports. McKay is playing football for the JR. High team. They did really well the 1st game but not so well the 2nd game. They played Holbrook 2 weeks ago. Oh my goodness that was an awesome game. We got ahead in the first little while then Holbrook started coming back. We are in the last minutes of the game and Holbrook is ahead and they think they have won the game. We came back and scored and then we scored the 2 point conversion. YEAH we WON the game. I have never seen McKay smile so big in my life (Plus his dad was excited also). Then they played Snowflake and didn't even play well at all. McKay got a really good tackle in the end of the game. We just don't have many boys to play this year so all are on one team. McKay is loving football and is super excited that he got #72 which Rick wore in HS. You can't really see him in the picture but he is there.

Alyssa has started Volleyball and is loving it. She is the setter for the JV team and was made one of the captains of the team. Coach wrote on her paper that she needs to keep up the good attitude and keep the girls motivated. That was impressive. They have had a few games so far. They have beat Showlow & Gilbert Cristian so far but lost to Payson this last week. She also takes stats for the Varsity. She really likes her coach who is her softball coach also. She does a really good job playing. She can serve so good too. Alyssa can make alot of points off of serving the ball.

School is off and running and we are all back in our routines. Barr is loving his class and his teacher. Which is his best friends mom (who wouldn't love Mrs. B.) McKay is getting adjusted to the Jr. High life. Trying to figure out the lockers and getting to class on time. Alyssa is enjoying HS again. Making more good friends, and getting more involved this year that last year.
