Softball for this season came to an end on Saturday against St. David. The Mustangs fought a good fight but just couldn't pull it off. Remember girls you ARE 1A North Region CHAMPS & you BEAT Jo City :)

Coming Home!

I just want the Mustang Softball team to know I am so privileged to be able to be at most of the games this year. Alyssa pitched so dang good at state and couldn't be prouder of her. On Tuesday before state Alyssa was practicing & her foot went into her hole wrong and twisted what we think the ligament above her ankle. We got ice & tense unit on that leg for days. The 2nd game @ state I glanced over to see her walk by and was slightly limping. Well, she did so good. Struck 7 girls out & 1 more homer! Did good girl.
Just for me: This season has been a struggle for my poor daughter. She has had a lot of pressure from her coach. She is the top pitcher this year. She has been on the verge of just quitting her favorite sport because of all the tension. Through prayer & the power of the Priesthood she did pull it through. The 1st of the season yes was a struggle. You came back strong because you wanted to be a great player. Alyssa is an amazing person, & an AMAZING softball player. Glad you stuck it out & changed how you wanted to play. This last month has been the best month for the Mustangs. They played so hard together!! Alyssa in one game met her goal. She struck out 9 girls and NO walks!! (against Payson) who is a tough team. She wanted 1 game of no walks!!!!!!!!! So, SO SOOOO Proud of Alyssa for your great season!! Love ya
