What a stressful week this last week has been! Alyssa tried out for Orchestra & Choir Regionals last Saturday. She said she didn't think she would make it. We just told her "Oh you have made it all of High School you will make it." Monday I get a text from Alyssa, "I didn't make either one!" Well, Mr. Cheney called me & said that this conductor was very strict & he was really mad. He emailed one of the ladies and asked what the deal was. Alyssa has made it the last 3 years and has been getting private lessons at school once a week.
I get a call on Tuesday from Mr. Cheney and he said he had sent the email out and still how mad he was at the judging this year.
Wednesday morning another phone call saying that he just talked to the Governor of our regions board to have him look into why she didn't make it.
Wednesday afternoon I get another call, GOOD NEWS!!! She made it, she is the 2nd chair, 2nd violin!! Plus She scored 4th highest in all the Violin players in the region!!
