This years theme was "Survivor" from the TV show. It was alot of fun and alot of work. We had our camp at Turkey Springs. We had buffs, torches, tribes, ammunitie challenges, an auction, and even exile island. The Young branch was with us at camp this year. They are just the neatest people. I made 2 new wonderful friends (Aimee and Therasa).

When we got there we split the girls into 2 tribes and they made there own flags and set up there own tents. The leaders were another tribe. These girls were such troopers with everything. One of the challenges was that they had to finish 2 bottles of baby food (mixed veges) Uhg!!!! Kendra couldn't get it down and ran and threw it up. What a girl she is!!!.

On exile island there was a letter from there parents and they just had time to think and ponder. Not one girl complained they all wanted to go back. The girls that hadn't gone were begging for there turn they heard that is was so awesome.

When at girls camp what does Sister Turley do.... PRANK of course. These girls know me and try to figure out what I'm going to do. Well this year I had more help.. My Young partner. They were a barrell of laughs. We couldn't get these girls to go to bed the first night. The second night we initiated the new girls and Young with some fun games. But the thirs night me and Aimee made sure they were in bed at 10:00. We had fun taping the girls tents shut. One tribe caught us. But it was alot of fun. We, I should say not me, told the girls that we had a snake from the pond at Legacy that we brought back. That got them all wigged out. Made them squirm though. We ended up putting fake snakes in the tents. You can't have camp with out putting bra's and underwear on the flag pole. I bought me some big ol mama undies at the dollar store to put up there. They were soooo big me and Marcie could put them on. The red and black blog are the mama jama panties.

One of the days we hiked to Legacy Lodge. When we got there we had an immunity challenge after that Aimee had the girls do facials. They had so much fun. They put mud on their faces with cucumbers of course. Then they put creams on there. Then Aimee taught them to rub strawberries on there teeth to whiten them. Who would of thought.

Did I mention that camp was really really really cold. The first day we got there it started raining off and all all day. Then that night it came in and dumped and nobody slept at all. But we "SURVIVED" girls camp and have soooo many memories. These girls did not give us one bit of grief either what more can you ask for from such wonderful girls.
