Happy Fathers Day

Happy fathers day to Rick:

What a great dad you are to our kids. You work hard for our family. He works shift work and does not like night shift but he puts up with it for our family. He loves his job but not night shifts. He puts up with the long commute when he goes to work.

He is great with our kids and is so calm when he is mad at them. Tries to go to all of our kids activities when he is not working (or tries to switch with someone to be there). Thank you for being an AWESOME dad!!! We love you.

To my Father-in-Law:

What a great man also. He raised a great son and family. He's a fun person to be around. He always wants to have a party. Wanted a party for his 70th birthday and was so excited for their 50th wedding party. My kids love to go hunting with Grandpa Turley. He's so good to my boys in teaching them to brand cows. Happy fathers day to you also. We love ya!

Last but not least, My Dad:

Even though my dad is not here with us anymore I can still tell you what a great man he was.
Loved teaching school.
Loved the girls in his classes. (HA HA) They loved him too.
Loved to be a wrestling coach.
Loved his family even when there was LOTS of grief.
Loved his sweets. Hot chocolate in the winter and his Dr. Pepper but got off of that quickly when he got sick on his mission.
Loved being on his mission with my mom in Missouri. Even though it was a very hard mission he still wrote us positive letters every week.
He was the most kind, caring, gentle man I ever knew. I only saw him get mad a few times in my life. He was sooooo good to my kids. Barr would go to "Pre-Pre school" at his house. Or when there wasn't school Barr would just go over for breakfast with Grandpa.
We truly miss him and know that we will see him again. We Love YOU!!!

  2. Your dad was one of my favorite teachers! Remember when you, Daryll and I saw him walking on the road one summer and we called him Mr. Waffles? He gave us all detention for the next school year! Great memories!!!!!!
