Christmas!!

The Turley family had a great Christmas break!!
Sorry that I won't have pictures, which might be good! Our computer is being worked on, so I have been going over to my mom's to check things. What a dang pane. Anyway, we had a great Christmas break. Rick took a vacation so he was basically off for the whole break. The kids actually got along really well til the weekend before school started. I'm thinking they were bored and ready for school to start which I was too :)
Rick's family was all together for Christmas Eve. We go to his family and have a fun party and dinner with them. All of his family was there which was fun for the kids. Then for Christmas we spend it with my family. I had 1 brother and my sister was here. We just play games and EAT!!! What's better than that for Christmas time. The kids got alot of fun things and loved the day. It was kind of crazy this year cause Rick woke up and said what time is it. It was 7:20 A.M. We had to wake our kids up!!! Are you kidding me NO we really had to!!!!
We are so very thankful for the Christmas season and the purpose of Christmas!! We have presents and socks but we truly are grateful for our Heavenly Father.
On a side note, Rick got released from the Stake Young Men's Pres. and was put in as Ward Young Men's President. Now we are both in the Youth program together and in June Barr will be a Deacon. So our whole family will be at the church every Wednesday night. How fun is this!!!
I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Christmas season!!

  1. Corie,
I just heard about April's Mom dying. So sad. Do you know how I can get in contact with her? Thanks. Melanie (Chapple)Egbert

BTW, I have enjoyed your blog. Our oldest son (16---junior) is also a wrestler, and I am with you on being ready for the season to be over. He is fun to watch and is getting much better, so it makes it more bearable for me. Lon was a state wrestling champ so Loves, loves, loves going to wrestling meets!
