Barr won an airplane ride at school last school year. Shawn Christoferson was taking him but the plane didn't have insurance on it. So we got a call from Shawn in October that he was ready to take him. The Crook boys also won and went along. Barr was watching the clock ALL day too!!
Shawn had actually taken our family a couple of years ago around Heber and Barr did NOT like it at all. So I was shocked that Barr was so excited to go. I took my big telephoto lens and got some really good pictures of the plane in the air.
Shawn's dad took me up on the deck to get some good pictures. Well when they came back I didn't quite have time to get my camera to my eye. Going 200 miles an hour is a tough shot!!!
They got to fly over Heber/Overgaard, went to Black Canyon, and saw Legacy Lodge.
