McKay plays on the 8th grade basketball team. We have had one of the best seasons on record. They are 6-2. Last week we played Winslow and won at the buzzer. Then on to Snowflake where we won that game also. So that put us in as #3 in this region. We played St. Johns today to see who goes to the final 4 this weekend in Winslow. WE WON!!!!
These boys have been so fun to watch this season. We lost our 1st 2 games but have rocked it the rest of the season. We have 5 boys playing!! Yes that is correct 5 boys. They brought 2 7th graders up but only in case of foul trouble. This team is intense to watch, they play so well as a team.
