McKay went to his very first prom!!
He asked Rachel Thiel. She is the sweetest girl around. McKay wanted to be the nice guy and ask a Senior girl that hadn't been asked. She he finally asked her the week before Prom.
Funny story: He needs mom's help ALOT!!
So he calls me and says get some flowers I want to ask Rachel to prom. I was at Wal-Mart and picked up some super cute flowers.
The next day I said at least take them out of the plastic. As I was looking for some cute ribbon to I walked in the kitchen & he had them in a vase saying "looks good right?" haha um you need ribbon and a card.
He took the flowers to the office before he left for his baseball tourney in Morenci. Hey McKay did you put a note with them. "Why? Word gets around quick!! Gotta love this kid!
He is a very stylish boy and always wants to look his best. So FINALLY!!! found a white vest and he thought he looked AWESOME!! (which he did).

Frankie called Packer up at dinner & said hey I'm a Senior I need to go to prom so I will chauffeur you guys around.
Promenade was so fun!! McKay & Rachel were so funny when they came out. Rachel told McKay "We are going to be goofy & have FUN!"
So glad he ended up going. He said he had a blast! (Well he said Prom was the SHIZ!
I got a sweet email the next day from Rachel's parents saying that they truly appreciated what a gentleman McKay was with Rachel. Opened up her car doors and was very courteous with her. Brought me to tears to think that I have raised a great Young Man!!
