Shout out!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to 2 of the sweetest, coolest boys I know.  McKay & Barr are my favourite 2 boys in the whole world.  I just want them to know how very proud us as parents are for them in our lives.

 

I've been wanting to say something all summer about them on my blog.  They both have a summer job with Haskel Reynolds (who is the best employer ever!!!).  These 2 boys get up between 3-5 AM every morning (well M-F).  Started out the summer getting home around 2-3 then ended up working till 5-6.  Never once did I hear these 2 boys complain about having to get up early or missing something going on. 

 

McKay even had to work on his birthday.  Did he complain??? NOOOO he did not. 

 

These boys are understanding that a mission is the most important thing in life for them.  They understand that they are working towards this goal.

 

I was talking to them last night after getting back from school shopping.  I just told them, "You know me and dad are so dang proud of you!!"  Why is that they asked??  Well because you both have worked so hard this summer and Not ONCE did you ever complain!!  McKay's reply, "I LOVE WORK!!"  Brought some tears to this mom's eye!!

Side note:  Sometimes McKay would work for a lady moving couches from her consignment store on the side on Saturdays.  Also, Barr started helping some days.

 

 

So grateful for their dad teaching them about hard work!
