Christmas 2014

Another Christmas came & went.
This year Carissa was with our family for Christmas.  She was a lot of fun at the Turley party the night before.  We sit on Santa's lap & get our stockings from Santa.  She was a good sport with us.
This year the boys won state in football so Rick had a project he wanted to do for the boys Christmas.  He found these boxes in Hobby lobby the day of the semi game.  He didn't say anything about it until on the way home from the state game that he needed these boxes.  We couldn't find them on line so thankfully Alyssa found them in Amarillo's hobby lobby.  Rick went all over Showlow finding "The perfect football"  he got a paint pen & wrote their record where they played etc.  The boys LOVED this gift!!
I didn't get too many pictures this Christmas but I will always remember this Christmas.

When my kids are a senior I decorate the tree just for them.  So when they get married they can take all the ornaments to decorate their own tree so they don't have to spend money being newly married.
McKay's year was this year.  He's a boy & wouldn't tell me exactly what he wanted.  Me & Alyssa would get on pinterest & ask him "do you like this?"  sure whatever.  That made me crazy, but we finally decided that we would do a black silver & red football tree.  I found some cool football ornaments, state champ ribbon & then some other cool ribbons & accessories to put on the tree.

Barr coming in Christmas morning with Cache being Cache behind haha
Barr wanted an Oregon Ducks snuggie this year.  WHAT???? haha yes he's a huge Ducks fan!  Yes I found one.

You can see Barr's snuggie, it's a Ducks football guy on the front.  So funny but that's what he wanted.  McKay wanted a pillow pet! haha & it had to be the Texas Longhorns.  He took it on basketball trips. Yes that's right he took that pillow pet with him & Barr took his blanket!

We had a great Christmas for sure.  It was a little somber knowing that next Christmas McKay would be on his mission.  But I can say I was so very happy that I had all my family with me this year.  I love each & everyone of them.
