Barr wrestled again this year. He wasn't going to do it but we told him he needed to do something instead of just coming home. He kept saying "I'm not that good!" Well, this year Barr did so much better. Craig Blackburn worked with him a lot & taught him the head lock. At the banquet after the season Rocky said "Oh Barr & his head lock that Blackburn taught him did Barr good this year. I wouldn't want to get in his head lock either!!" Barr did really good this year. He took 5th in the Mogollon invitational which was amazing!! He started out not doing real good cause they had him wrestling at a higher weight but after Christmas he wrestled his 172 weight. He didn't make it to state this year. The week of Regionals to see who went to state he got sick like the rest of us. I'm just so proud of this kid this year. He's built like an ox & strong as an ox just waiting for the fire to come. I'm excited for next year to come!
McKay of course did basketball again this year. Yes I'm a horrible mother & didn't get too many pictures this year. It's just so dang hard to watch & take pictures plus the gyms are so dark. They boys had a new coach this year & I was happy. This new coach was trying to figure these boys out & he was a little timid in yelling at them or if they lost he would say sorry that's my fault. But I did like him better. The boys did good this year they had a pretty good season. We played some hard games & we didn't play so good in other games. McKay would get frustrated a lot but that's what team sports do to ya. They took 2nd in the Region. Which they could have beaten FT. Thomas but we played them in San Carlos with all of the FT. Thomas town was there. Ft. Thomas beat us. We made it to state though. We played just 1 game but what a game that was. Our boys didn't play too hot the 1st half but finally came back in the 2nd half but lost by 1 point. It was sad!

The same night as the senior night of basketball the boys got their State Champ football rings. The Senior Captains (McKay, Joe, & Jaden) got to pick them out & I think they did a great job. So all the football players got there rings this night!
I was in Texas helping Alyssa get ready for the baby to come so I didn't get to be there for either :(
