Last couple of months

First of all my computer crashed!!! So we went and finally got a new computer. So here is what has gone on in the last few months:

Barr's 5th grade class and the other 5th grade class did a Presidents day parade at school. Barr had to make a float of a president that he chose out of a shoe box. (Well I helped). He chose FDR as his president. We made it look like the car he was in when he got shot. We had fun making this look like a car.

Here is Barr with his float (To shy to look at me to take a picture)

Also, on presidents day Alyssa made regionals in orchestra and went to Round Valley for 2 days to practice then performed on the 2nd day. We went over to watch her and they did such a great job. Last year Alyssa was with the seconds violins and this year she made 1st violins in 4th chair. Mr. Cheney told her that she scored really high at try outs. Funny thing is @ try outs she dropped her music and played it off the floor. Way to go!!! We were very impressed that she was 4th chair this year.

Alyssa is the 2nd chair 2nd row:
Then McKay in March finished Basketball with a 7-3 record. Which is we here the best 7th grade record for Junior High in Heber. The 3 games they did lose were to Canyon day, Snowflake (which we should have won) and Winslow by 3 points. These boys did an amazing job playing. McKay stepped it up this year playing center. He really played alot harder than he has ever played. They also went to a tournament in Tonto Basin and took 1st place. Proud of our Mustangs!!
