Yeah for spring sports to be outside! Wait a minute it's still cold & windy haha. This year wasn't too cold because we didn't get much snow this year. McKay did Baseball again this year. I actually enjoyed the games this year. I got to know one of the moms a little better this year & super sad at the same time because her son graduates this year. But hopefully I will see her again. The baseball team did really good this year. We beat Holbrook one of the 2 games we played them. We made it to the 2nd round of state this year. It was clear in Goodyear but so fun to go watch these boys. 1st game we played a #10 team Tombstone & we were #23. We won!!! Now to have to go back down the next weekend. We played Tempe prep & have gotten beat barely both times. We thought we had it. Well the refs were horrible & cost us the game. Even a ref from SJ watched part of our game & said the refs were wrong to us. But it was a good season!
Barr decided he was going to do track this year. He went out for Shot put & discuss. For being the 1st time ever to do the discuss he did really well. Rick said he would work with him on his throwing so he can make it to state next year. Proud of these boys :)
