We have the boys in a basketball league in Showlow that we have done for a few years. McKay's team was coached by Marshall and Pres. Whipple. They ended up being undefeated for the season. McKay ended up rebounding better and shooting 3's and just all around shooting better. His rebounding has improved soooo much. Proud of all the games he played so well in.
Now on to Barr. He was coached by his Dad. Rick and I have coached Barr's team for the past few years. Barr was in the 3rd and 4th grade bracket. Next year he gets to play on the Junior High court. He's so excited to move up next year. We had a tough season we one only 1 game our first. There were some close ones and some huge upsets. These boys sure did have a great time though. Barr is getting so much better all around. This year these boys finally got all the positions and where to go. We are proud of both our boys for a great season. No more going to Showlow every Saturday.
Sounds like you guys had a great season! I bet you will be glad you don't have to drive to Showlow...we like having our kids in sports but it does take A TON of time!!
