Why do I hate my Home Evenings. Doesn't every one along with Sunday Mornings. Hope I'm not the only one. One time we had a High Council say it was Family Brawl Night. I so agree with this certain night. I am trying to get everything ready for FHE in the kitchen. We are going to shred my big block of cheese and make cookies. Sounds fun right, yeah until the tragedy. Alyssa is on the computer and McKay wants in the room. Alyssa won't let him in so what does a typical boy do, he got mad. First the door slams and then McKay called Alyssa a "retard" WRONG! As I'm going for the soap Alyssa is screaming "retard" back. I'm so dang mad now, until she comes running in the kitchen with blood dripping everywhere. I don't do blood. "RICK get your daughter fixed."
McKay threw a cutter at her and cut the top of her thumb. (quilt material cutter) What if it needs stitches. By now McKay's eyes are HUGE. Alyssa is crying "what if I can't pitch this weekend." Oh My Goodness!!!!!!! What is going on in my family.
I had to write this for myself. Alyssa was in Jo City today for a Large Group Festival for Orchestra. After they were done the judge comes and talks to them about what they can work on and get better. Points right to Alyssa. "What did you do to your thumb?" Uh cut it. So Sister Cheney asks what happened and told her about our eventful FHE. We laughed and laughed about it. Now I can laugh but the other night I'd had it with my kids.
Please just laugh with me and don't report me JK!!

I don't know what you are talking about...I LOVE FHE!!! We never fight, the spirit it is always strong, and I look forward to EVERY Monday!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!! My mom always use to yell at us and say "Why don't you guys just let Satan right in?!!" Now I know what she was talking about. He knows exactly when we are trying to do good things and that is why it never works...or maybe my kids are just evil:o)
ReplyDeleteI am calling CPS tonight! Yep, I agree with Tiff our FHE's are the BEST! Right-my girls beg and beg...lets have FHE every night, and I am like NO. You girls don't even want to sit still for 30 mins. one night a week! What do we say...FHE gotta love it!
